Cloud Range’s FastTrak Candidate Assessment objectively determines a candidate’s qualifications, practical skills, relative overall experience, and readiness to defend as a cybersecurity professional.
HOW IT WORKS
Cloud Range has developed a proprietary evaluation system that maps performance to the NICE Framework, including multiple measurements of knowledge, skills, abilities, and tasks (KSATs). Based on the job description, the work roles are identified and the associated and relevant KSATs are measured using both the simulation exercise results and a set of specifically designed examination questions.
Cloud Range's FastTrak Candidate Assessments are simulation-based cyberattack exercises — conducted on our live, virtual cyber range and LMS platform — that immerse a candidate in a live, simulated cyberattack scenario. The specific scenario is selected or designed based on the work role(s) in the NICE Framework. They are measured on various aspects of detection, response, or remediation from a combination of timing of various aspects of the scenario as well as structured examination questions in the LMS. The result is a report containing their scores.
Hiring managers and HR departments use these assessments during hiring, promotion, and cross-training to ensure the right people are in the right seats and have a plan for further growth and development.
